Food and service are the building blocks of our business. Whether you are planning a large party, a corporate function, wedding shower or even an intimate dinner, we can assist you.
Because we know that you eat with our eyes first, our food is displayed on beautiful platters and baskets that meet our catering expertise, innovation and imagination to turn your theme, idea or color scheme into a specially, delicious event.
We will use your kitchen or bring one with us, clean up and say bon appetit and thank you after it’s over. We have established the necessary staff for buffet or full service events.
Prices are based on the menu chosen, the number of people and the location of the event. With our personal chef services we provide weekly dinners, individual dinners or an intimate Valentines’ dinner for two. Dinners can be packaged for the freezer complete with reheating instructions.
At JRow's Catering, we offer complete planning services for any occasion. Whether you are local or out of town, planning either a corporate or private function for 50-1500 people, we are here to assist you and to ensure that your event is fun and memorable.
At JRow's Catering we will never compromise on quality or level of service and therefore may not be for every budget or event.
JRow's Catering Policies and Procedures
- Two days prior to the event, we will need a final guarantee of the number of guest that will be attending the event. We will prepare 5% over the guaranteed number of guests to accommodate for unexpected guests. You will be charged for the number of guests served or the number of guests that was guaranteed or whichever number is greater.
- A 50% deposit is expected for the total expenses are required for all events at the time the Catering Contract is signed. The balance is due immediately upon completion of the service. Adjustments, if any will be made within 72 hours. All major credit cards are accepted; however a 3% processing surcharge will be applied to the final bill.
- If the event is cancelled prior to 48 hours, giving us two business days notice then the original deposit will be refunded unless any actual expenses incurred which cannot be returned such as foods and/or decorations, etc. There will not be any other penalties or interest.
- A service charge of around 18% will be added in order to take care of any necessities for pre-party costs, and to pay support staff that the host does not have direct contact with i.e. drivers, dishwashers, stockers, etc. This charge is not a gratuity. Gratuities are amounts of money given to the staff at an event which is divided equally. It is over and above the cost of the invoice and is based on staff performance and is up to the host discretion.

We want your catering event to be without any unexpected problems. The best way to help you prevent that from happening is to give you some specific questions to be sure and get answered before your event. Of course you want to first call J Row’s Catering and lets get our relationship started. Then be sure and get your answers to your questions:

- What type of event is it?
- Where will the event be held?
- How many people will be attending?
- Is it a sit down meal or buffet?
- How many courses to the meal?
- How large are the portion sizes?
- What is the chef known for or what are his specialties?
- Will there be a full bar? Is the bar open during dinner? How many bar tenders on staff?
- If wine is served will it be on the table or served by staff?
- Do you need place cards on the tables?
- Do we need a special location for gifts?
- How will be providing flower arrangements?
- Is coffee to be served by staff and if so when?
- How will the staff be dressed?
- Is there a cut off time of the event?
- Will valet parking be necessary?
- Is the photographer, band etc. to be fed also?
- How many staff members will be working the event?
- Who will be the contact person for planning the event and who is the contact person during the event?
